While researching the Philippines I came across a great YouTube channel. FrontActHecklines – it is the home of Bogart The Explorer. Bogart explores the PI’s and shows us many dangers you may encounter in the wilds of the urban jungle. Done in a Steve Irwin kind of way, complete with a not quite authentic Australian accent. He shows us such amazing things as “the snatcher”, “Philippine driving”, “the kapre”, and “the aswang”. If you are not sure what some of those are then you have some videos to watch, my friend!
I find him pretty amusing. He kindly pokes fun at some aspects of the Philippines without being mean. You can tell it is done as a labor of love. Here are links to his YouTube channel and his Facebook page. Enjoy!
